MCEAD provides training and education for the 9-1-1 PSAP telecommunicators of McLennan County. The District usually hosts one “major” training class each year for the dispatchers. In the past, companies such as PowerPhone, Denise Amber Lee Foundation, and PSTC have been used. In addition to the major training class, the District staff also provides TTY training, 9-1-1 viper training, and any other training requested by the PSAP.
