Health and Safety Fairs
In addition to our work in schools and daycares, MCEAD participates in several health fairs and organizational activities throughout the year. This enables us to reach out to all age groups. Participation in events such as National Night Out, RSVP Senior Health Fair and many other local activities places the District in a position to reach individuals who otherwise might not learn about 9-1-1. We provide information about calling 9-1-1 from landline phones, cell phones, and even internet phones. With “Next Generation 9-1-1” rapidly approaching, the Public Education Program will keep the public up to date and informed on the new advances in the 9-1-1 technologies.
